Revisionist champion Ahmadinejad sees through US 'democratic' charade

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is back in the headlines with a characteristically perceptive view of the recent US elections.

While 'liberals' and 'conservatives' worldwide have lined up behind their presumed champions Joe Biden and Donald Trump, Ahmadinejad – in an interview this week with the RT programme Going Underground – astutely pointed out that these are mere puppets on an essentially unchanging stage.

"It makes no difference who is President in the US, since major US policies are devised by the governing board behind the scenes."

In December 2006 President Ahmadinejad hosted an international conference to discuss the full range of historical views on the so-called 'Holocaust' of European Jewry. This was an event that (as the late, great Professor Robert Faurisson pointed out in his conference speech) could not have been held in the 'democratic' West, least of all in the Professor's home country France, where any dissident research, publication or discussion on this topic is forbidden.

Academics, scientists and even their lawyers are regularly imprisoned and/or subjected to crippling fines in European courts. As this blog has recorded, Lady Renouf herself was prosecuted after an impromptu speech in Dresden in 2018, even though it did not refer to the 'homicidal gas chamber Holocaust'. Challenging the interpretation of surrounding events, such as the internment of 'enemy alien' Jews, was enough to earn criminal charges that could have resulted in Lady Renouf spending several years in a German prison.

Yet thanks to the fearless Ahmadinejad a genuinely free discussion of this entire historical topic, featuring experts from a wide range of nationalities and opposing views, was enabled in Teheran.

Lady Michèle Renouf was among the speakers at this 2006 conference and she returned to Teheran in 2010 to address another event hosted by President Ahmadinejad.

Featured in a cover story by The Barnes Review, this 2010 speech presented a viable alternative to the destructive and oppressive Zionist project – the long-established first Jewish homeland of Birobidzhan, centre of a 'Jewish Republic' established by the former Soviet Union in 1928 and still in existence on the borders of modern Russia and China.

Following her speech, President Ahmadinejad said to Lady Renouf: “you and me, we see it the same."
